Corporate Legal Counsel (All Genders)

Your mission

  • Swiss HQ & European Operations:
    • Manage day-to-day legal affairs for the Swiss headquarters, including corporate governance, local board resolutions, and Swiss Commercial Register filings.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements in Switzerland and the European Union, including the timely monitoring of legal and regulatory developments and the translation of such changes into internal operational policies, procedures, and implementation measures.
  • Commercial Contracts & Supply Chain:
    • Draft, review, and negotiate international commercial agreements.
    • Align contractual terms with the global supply chain and manufacturing guidelines provided by the Head of Legal.
  • Cross-Border Collaboration:
    • Serve as the main point of legal contact in Switzerland, ensuring seamless reporting and alignment on global legal strategies.
    • Coordinate with Swiss/European external counsel when specialized local litigation or advice is required.
  • Data Privacy & IP Protection:
    • Oversee local data privacy compliance (Swiss DPA / EU GDPR) regarding European consumer data and marketing.
    • Assist the global team in safeguarding intellectual property (patents, trademarks, designs) within the European market.

Your profile

Qualifications & Experience 
  • Education: Master of Law (MLaw / LL.M.) from a recognized Swiss university. Admission to the Swiss Bar (Anwaltspatent) is an asset but not strictly mandatory for this in-house role if equivalent corporate experience is shown.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of post-graduate legal experience, preferably within the manufacturing, consumer goods, or electronics sector, or within a commercial practice group of a Swiss law firm.
  • Languages: * Fluency in English (the global corporate language).

  • High Autonomy: Because your direct manager is in a different time zone (China), you must be comfortable working independently, managing your own workflow, and taking initiative.
  • Pragmatic & Business-Minded: Ability to provide fast, practical legal solutions that keep business moving, rather than just pointing out legal risks.
  • Cross-Cultural Competence: Strong communication skills suited for a multinational matrix organization spanning Europe and Asia.
